Madico

Madico’s Window Film Division develops advanced laminates that help home and commercial property owners curb energy consumption, combat the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays and increase personal safety.  In addition, they provide a sleek, uniform look to your building’s exterior, eliminating visual clutter and adding value to your investment.

Madico develops and delivers innovative products that protect people and the planet.  All aspects of business have been optimized to not only achieve this goal, but also do so in an environmentally responsible manner.  Their strategy to co-locate engineering and manufacturing within their corporate headquarters allows them to ensure the highest quality products and the most sustainable practices.

Madico’s commitment to glass film innovation has earned recognition from such esteemed organizations as Protecting People First Foundation, while their dedication to responsible testing has helped them earn certifications from Factory Mutual, Underwriters Laboratories, Underwriters Laboratories of Canada and other reputable agencies.  Madico recently had the distinction of having 45 solar control window films certified by the National Fenestration Ratings Council (NFRC). The NFRC is a non-profit organization that administers the only uniform, independent rating and labeling system for the energy performance of windows, doors, skylights, and attachment products. Their goal is to provide fair, accurate, and reliable energy performance ratings.  Madico’s certifications may be seen, and printed, at www.nfrc.org.

Madico Conventional Films
Adding Madico solar control film to a building's windows is a simple procedure that may be one of the most important things an owner or building owner or manager can do. Madico films benefit, not only a building’s occupants, but the company's bottom line as well.

Blocking 99% of damaging ultraviolet rays, these films also reject up to 80% of the sun’s solar energy, helping to reduce air conditioning costs. In the winter, the same film will help retain the interiors warmth.  The addition of a solar control window film is a proven success to energy-efficiency campaign efforts.

Glare causes eye fatigue and lower productivity. Drawing curtains or closing blinds is a claustrophobic approach at best, and it drives up the bill for artificial lighting. Madico films let in the light but not the glare, helping to maintain an "open" feeling.

Madico offers a wide range of films that are scratch resistant, long lasting and backed by a strong manufacturers warranty.
